Norway is hosting the 20th United Nations Internet Governance Forum(IGF). This will take place from 23 to 27 June in Lillestrom near Oslo. Under the motto ‘Building Digital Governance Together’, the international event will bring together representatives from the fields of politics, business, science and civil society to address the following four key topics in various formats:
- Building Digital Trust and Resilience
- Building Sustainable and Responsible Innovation
- Building Universal Access and Digital Rights
- Building Digital Cooperation
Many IGF sessions address the rights of children and young people to protection, empowerment and participation in the digital environment. Below, we have compiled an overview of the events that focus specifically on aspects of children and young people growing up in a digital world. All sessions will be held in English and are designed to actively involve participants, whether they are attending on site or online. Registration is a prerequisite for participation and open until 8 June. Recordings of the sessions will be made available after the IGF. These resources will be added to the overview as soon as possible.
