The organization jugendschutz.net has published its 2025 annual report on the protection of minors online. The report’s key findings show that artificial intelligence creates new dangers and exacerbates existing risks. Of the more than 15,000 violations processed in 2025, nearly 14,000 involved child sexual abuse content. Chatbots, AI-generated influencers, and AI-generated images are exacerbating existing threats.
