Study: Social Media and Youth Mental Health

The study was published in 2023. The aim of the study is to highlight the extent of the consequences arising from the use of social media by minors. In this context, recommendations for action by the parties involved are also provided.

The risks identified include the impact on brain development in children and a possible decline in life satisfaction. The networking of peers and the resulting social connectedness are perceived positively.
