Hommes and Thorn have sent an open letter to the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany to draw attention to the ongoing challenge of implementing children's rights in the digital environment.
The civil society organisations working together within the ECLAG-Initiative to protect children and young people from sexualised abuse in the digital environment draw attention to the ongoing negotiation process at European level for a regulation on preventing and combating sexualised abuse of children on the internet and emphasise that the German government needs to take a position in order to make an important contribution to the decision-making process on the Danish Presidency's proposal.
