The European Union is currently developing an Cyberbullying Action Plan. It will contain concrete measures for adults, schools, and online platforms to better protect and support children and young people in the digital space.

A key part of this process is an EU-wide survey of children and young people aged 12 to 17. The survey aims to provide insight into how young people experience cyberbullying and what changes they would like to see to make the internet safer and more supportive.

Click here to go directly to the survey: Cyberbullying Survey | EU Children’s Participation Platform (The survey is available in all EU official languages).

The survey is open until September 30.

Social media graphics are available to help promote and disseminate the survey (e.g., for LinkedIn und Instagram). You can use these for your networks, communication channels, and newsletters to reach as many young people as possible.

Parallel to the survey for children and young people, there is also a consultation with adults. The opinions and experiences of interested partners and experts will be combined with the contributions of young people in a comprehensive action plan against cyberbullying.
